Simeka Heights is a student accommodation development by Mutodo Properties, which was built to accommodate the University of Venda (Univen) students. The privately owned student residence was completed in 2021 and offers premium student accommodation. It comprises of 1,040 beds in shared living spaces.
Simeka Heights is accredited by Univen according to their criteria, and meets the standard set out by the Department of Higher Education and Training for NSFAS students.
The modern student accommodation is a student safe haven with a unique hospitality approach to service, for total peace of mind. It is conveniently located close to Univen, shopping facilities and other amenities.

The Simeka Heights design used mostly locally available materials and resources in combating the warm local climate. This was achieved through the inclusion of a curved brick façade punctuated by many glazed openings protected by steel sun louvres, and a steel roofing structure with large overhangs. Nestled within the rich environment of Thohoyandou with the Mvudi river running behind it, Simeka Heights was developed in a manner that preserves and protects its natural environment and surroundings.
